Peru, Chirinos

Yellow peach, caramel, red cherry, cola

Peru has all the conditions necessary to produce world-class coffee. It’s high elevation, prominence of good varietals and a quality-focused movement among smallholder growers, especially in cooperatives utilising organic husbandry.

The region of Cajamarca is located in the highland of Peru in he Andean mountains. This area has very fertile soils and a semi-cold climate, these factors contribute to perfect coffee growing conditions, allowing the cherries to ripen slowly at the high altitudes which creates a sweeter cup profile as is demonstrated in this particular coffee.

In this cup we find the sweet and vibrant notes of yellow peach, caramel, red cherry and cola.
