This single origin has been produced by smallholder farmers of the Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative Society in the bountiful highlands of in the Kiangai region of Kenya.
The ripest cherries are selected, and fresh water from the Kibirigwi River is utilised in the washing process. After pulping, the cherries are then fermented overnight before being washed and left to dry on raised beds to preserve the coffee's bright, fruity character.
The result is a vibrant cup which is brimming with fragrance, flavour and acidity, featuring notes of elderflower, peach and stone fruit acidity, finished with a silky texture.
