This course is designed for individuals interested in an introductory level class that provides a foundation for sensory analysis of food and beverages. No experience needed.

This hands-on, interactive class is all about learning by tasting. You’ll explore the three key elements of flavor—taste, aroma, and mouthfeel—and discover how professionals use tools like flavour examples, flavour references, and the flavour lexicon to evaluate coffee.

By the end of the day, you’ll have a whole new way of experiencing coffee and the confidence to describe flavors like a pro. We’ll wrap up with a sensory analysis session, giving you a taste of how industry experts assess quality.
