"Roosvelt: Reasonably chocolaty with good mid and some low notes. Thankfully, little high-note citrus/acid. Slightly sour, and too much vanilla for my taste. That said, it's not a bad drop for espresso drinkers. I prefer it to the more sour Sunset Blvd which only shines when corrected with milk. At half price ($35/kg) it's priced about right when compared with supermarket beans, say, Coles Daley Street dark roast. If you're happy to pay $70/kg for coffee beans, consider 100% Australian grown beans = usually awesome and supports Aussie agriculture."

"Absolutely love these beans, they are delicious! Only rating 4 stars as the packaging has been changed recently to a biodegradable type which is great but is not strong enough to stay intact during transport."

"Some people say that you are either a coffee person or not. I used to be one of those people, and I was firmly in the ‘I don’t drink coffee’ camp. That was until friends brought along some Roosevelt beans and my husband made himself a coffee (well, he thought he made himself a coffee). The aroma filled my nostrils, and I couldn’t help myself but take a sip. I may or may not have signed up for a subscription before we went home, and the beans arrived by the end of the week. Well done Inglenook on converting my ‘I don’t drink coffee’ attitude into an appreciation of a fine cup. My husband says thanks too!"

"our daily driver for milk based espresso. hand grind single origins for pour over and to mix things up in between but roosevelt is what lives in the hopper most of the time."

"The 888 has many of flavours I’d more associate with darker roasts, which chocolatey notes and a full body, but it maintains all of the depth and complexity you’d expect from light roasts. Really wonderful blend and I hope it becomes a permanent addition to the Inglewood lineup!"

"Great tasting coffee with a smooth, balanced flavour and no bitterness. Perfect for my morning flat white. Will definitely order again."
